This highly-focused series of seminars is designed to help you understand current trends and learn up-to-the-minute methods to optimise your online presence. You’ve done all the work, produced all your great content, now make sure that you tell the world and reach your target audience wherever they are.

Planning a digital marketing strategy for a media business
This event will help you to build an effective and realistic digital marketing plan, beginning with factors such as brand identification and consistency and moving rapidly into search marketing, content optimisation, social media strategy and developing and converting sales leads. The marketing plan will take into account resource limitations of smaller companies. The plan will be focussed on strategies appropriate for a content-driven business.

Joanne Casey has over 9 years' experience working on digital marketing campaigns specialising in search strategy, conversion optimisation, econometric modelling, website analytics and usability. She has executed and managed many large scale campaigns across the UK and Ireland for clients including TV3, O2, Vodafone, P&G, Siemens, Sage and Kraft. Joanne is a regular speaker at digital and analytics events across Ireland and the UK.
Digital marketing for video
This hands-on training event will help you to promote your products and services using video through appropriate search marketing strategies. For those companies with video product, there will be a discussion on discoverability and monetisation of video content.

Prior to Glowmetrics, Lisa Kelland worked with top digital agency The Web Bureau, Digital Agency of the Year at the 2013 DANI Awards. Lisa has vast experience as a practitioner and in delivering training in areas such as SEO, email marketing, and social media to a range of B2C and B2B clients. Lisa has a BA in Ancient History and Philosophy from Queen’s University Belfast and an MSc in Communication, Advertising and PR from University of Ulster.
Building communities on social media
This event will begin with an overview of global trends in social media, emerging apps and new platforms. It will be a practical course covering community building, best practice and social strategy for platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Vine and Pinterest. Best practices in social media advertising will be treated.

Michael Wilson has worked for Electronic Arts and MSN. Prior to his current role at GlowMetrics, Michael was Social Media Analyst with Channel 4 where he introduced a range of social media communication channels, analytics and monitoring services. He was shortlisted for the Social Media award at the Marketing Week 'Data Strategy Awards 2014'. Michael also works as an independent music promoter and as a freelance journalist, writing for organisations such as BBC NI, UTV and Culture Northern Ireland.
Web analytics in your content marketing strategy
This event will help you to analyse traffic to and build your site around latest best practice in SEO. You will learn how to develop actionable insights from that traffic and develop a content marketing strategy around your site goals.
