The Remote Photo photography festival will take place on 7-10 May 2015 in Letterkenny, Co Donegal. The festival has an emphasis on people making new work in rural and remote locations and aims to:

• highlight the work of photographers living and producing work in rural and remote locations, with specific emphasis on the Irish context, but also drawing inspiration from artists further afield.

• encourage and inspire on multiple levels, from professionals looking to produce and promote personal work, early career photographers, students, hobbyists and the photographers of the future.

• support and develop a growing photography community in the North West of Ireland, through exposure to the highest levels of photographic work in Ireland and beyond.
