Campaigning photojournalist Jess Hurd says that there’s much more to her work than just taking pictures, including “Logistics planning, safety gear and having a back-up plan for your back-up plan!”

Jess was speaking at a Symposium on photojournalism 'Changing Genres in reporting conflict' hosted by the Centre for Media Research at Ulster University and Honeycomb - Creative Works, and supported by the North West Regional College and Void Contemporary Art Gallery.
