This course takes place over 4 days, delivered in 2 X 2-day blocks. The first 2-day block runs on Thursday 30th April and Friday 1st May. The second 2-day block runs on Thursday 7th May and Friday 8th May.

About your course

Is this you?

  • You are currently working in media/digital industry and want to move into a leadership role but don't have the confidence to do so
  • You previously worked in media or digital industries and are keen to re-engage
  • You currently teach a media or digital-related subject at university, college or school
  • You are working in a related area and are keen to pursue a career in the media or in digital.

If you you can answer yes to any of the questions above, then this course is for you!

In the event that the course is oversubscribed, preference will be given to women with a background in the creative industries and who are currently not working.

On this course, you will:

  • Undertake a skills audit that will look at creative, business and people skills;
  • Develop an understanding of the current digital and creative climate and where your skills fit within that;
  • Be introduced to personality profiling, understanding your own profile and recognising those of others;
  • Take part in a workshop designed to build self-confidence and being at ease in new settings.

What is your time commitment?

We ask that you commit to 2 blocks of two days (4 days in total) for your training. After the course, you will develop your personal development plan afterwards with mentored support, an estimated time commitment of 6-8 hours.
